JESUS SAID: "I AM AMAZED AT HOW THIS GREAT WEALTH HAS MADE ITS HOME IN THIS POVERTY

speaking about the spirit and the flesh... obviously, they are inter-related. One cannot exist without the other.
Walker Ballantine
"Indeed, I am amazed at how this great wealth has made its home in this poverty."

Walker Ballantine Jesus said this in the Gospel of Thomas.

Danny Lightfoot The spirit cannot exist without the flesh? Interesting belief. Paul died daily, he said. What died then?

Walker Ballantine I see the problem. Very well put.

Danny Lightfoot I just see the flesh as the temple (of the Spirit), rather than a building where men go to. I see the intertwining of the two, I just would be careful not to make them appear equal. John 6:63 addresses this.

Walker Ballantine Equal? Maybe not. The flesh died. But I know somehow that all duality in thought is wrong. Can I prove it? Not right mow.

Danny Lightfoot Duality as in two (Gods)? One of flesh/soul, the other of spirit? Like I said John 6, especially 6:63. The flesh profits "NOTHING". Dunking the flesh in water does nothing. The Spirit doesn't rely on the touch of flesh to "go into another". It is orthodox lies, to make the flesh a slave. Be free (in thinking). Debate if you like, I can point you in the direction to see it for yourself.

Walker Ballantine That's the problem. I've already seen it. Putting the realization into words is more difficult - likely impossible.

Danny Lightfoot Walker Ballantine lol....you got that right. It's why Jesus (and Paul) always sent apostles out in two's (or more). It's too much to place on one man/woman. You've done a great job with this site. I see people leaving saying they get nothing "Gnostic" See More

Walker Ballantine Danny,. thanks for your kind comment. Sincerely..........................This site is the only Gnostic site that prepares people & teaches them the steps to approach the Gnostic Realization/Enlightenment Experience,

Walker Ballantine (Foundation Experience) A lot of patience and hard work on oneself is necessary..... and it doesn't happen quickly. A group about Gnosis that doesn't include encouragement towards the transcendent Gnostic Experience - such a group has no usefulness, to my mind.................................No one said that the path would be quick or easy.

Cathy White Sample but duality in thought is a stage toward the integration back to pure spirit, it is indeed amazing that spirit is allowed to dwell in these feeble bodies and minds

Walker Ballantine Yes, duality is a stage. And as such, I ought to be more accepting of it.

Walker Ballantine Good advice. There's a psychologist who insists that: "Shouldhood equals shithood."

Walker Ballantine Yes, and our bodies might be frail, but that's part of the miracle. Our minds might be restricted, but spirit lives here.
