AND WHAT ROUGH BEAST, ITS HOUR COME AT LAST, SLOUCHES TOWARDS BETHLEHEM TO BE BORN?

W.B.YEATS:
TURNING and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.
Surely some revelation is at hand;
Surely the Second Coming is at hand.
The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out
When a vast image out of i{Spiritus Mundi}
Troubles my sight: somewhere in sands of the desert
A shape with lion body and the head of a man,
A gaze blank and pitiless as the sun,
Is moving its slow thighs, while all about it
Reel shadows of the indignant desert birds.
The darkness drops again; but now I know
That twenty centuries of stony sleep
Were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?  ***

God cannot be invoked. To commune
with Him we must pray for Grace.
Demons and other entities that survive
death - these can be invoked through certain practices.
But you'd best be extremely careful in following these practices, and have a prayer ready...because you're likely
going to need it.
There are entities you really don't want to
see. There is an entity that is so dessicated
that all the fluids will rapidly be sucked out of
your body, if you maintain your focus.
Luckily, terror will come to your aid -
fight or flight. And believe me, you'll choose
flight if you have the chance.

Some of the most spiritual people ever to evolve on this planet entered into the path
of the Dark Magician, early in their lives.
Eventually, you have a choice, the
path of power or the path of love.

            Padma Sambava, the great Buddhist
creator and saint, headed off originally ( sent
by his mother) to learn how to rain hail stones
down on a particular village.
And he learned how. He didn't fail.
But he learned other things as well. The other
things he learned turned him onto a different
path, the path of love.
But he kept a sardonic sense
of humour. He and his consort ate foods
left in the graveyards for the dead.
Then entered into tantric coitus
for long periods of time in the graveyards.
He pissed off the straights, you can believe
that!
            He was also described as
sitting in meditation upon a lotus leaf
floating out in the lake atop the waters.
(Just like Jesus Christ, he was
described as 'walking on the waters'.
You never know with these guys, maybe
they really did walk on water. But the
more important thing is this - the metaphor.
The metaphor is that 'the waters' are another
word for 'the unconscious'. And these
Conscious beings are Aware on top of the
unconscious, represented by the waters
of a lake or the sea.)

PARABLE, SYMBOL AND METAPHOR:
________________________________

             Most elevated spiritual teachings
are done by use of parable, symbol and
metaphor. And it's about time that those people
who are too literal minded caught on to
this fact.
There is a reason why religions
had general teachings and esoteric teachings.
Not everybody can grasp the esoteric teachings
and so they were kept secret. But such teachings
were revealed  through symbol and metaphor -
not everybody can consciously understand
such things.
               But everybody can understand
symbol, metaphor and parable on an
unconscious level.
That's why such teachings are made -
there's something in it for everybody.
           I don't respect religions that
work hard at keeping
things secret from most people.

           Another metaphor - when they
talk of Christ curing the blind, maybe he
did cure one or two blind people. But what
the metaphor means - he was bringing light
to their darkness, the darkness of their
ignorance. He was making the blind to see.
He was enlightening them.

The same type of metaphor applies
regarding the phrase, "raising the dead."
            The great teacher Basilides, living
in Alexandria 2000 years ago, wrote this:
"The dead went to Jerusalem and they
did not find what they did seek. So they have
come to these walls, asking questions of me."
The metaphor is - we are dead living lives of ignorance and confusion. Once Realization
comes, we are raised from the dead, we have
come to see.
All these phrases were current at the
time of Christ.

            Back to Padma.Eventually Padma Sambava
entered into the minds of all the animistic  spirits
in Tibet and converted them into Temple
guardians for the Buddhist temples
in that country.

He was one of the original Goths
to be sure. He was charged with murder
but he won his own case by proving that
the man he'd killed had murdered
Padma's family in a past life.
You'd have to be a hell of a
lawyer to do that. Yet I'm quite sure
when I say that Padma Sambava
was never called to the bar, in his
time.

What point am I making? Oh, yes.
The quotation which is the title of this
article was taken from the poet, William
Butler Yeats. The title is the last two
lines of Yeat's poem, "The Second Coming."
Yeats was interested in the occult
as well. It's pretty obvious, however,
that he also chose the path of love. Read
his poem, "When You Are Old", and you'll
see what I mean.

This article I was going to talk
about The Second Coming of Christ
and how it will come to be, how it is
coming to be.
            As they say about Maitreya
Buddha, the coming of Christ and
Christ Consciousness is - like the red
in the sky before the dawn. You haven't
seen the sun yet, but you know
Illumination is coming.
            The discovery anew of the
most ancient gospels is proof that
the Christ is arising. How will it
happen?
            The more elevated consciousness
that we will learn from these gospels...
This awareness, as it gathers strength,
will become capital 'c' Consciousness.
And when this Consciousness exists,
Christ arises among us.
It will happen. It is happening now.
A holy resurrection will take place
in our nations, when we learn things
as they are - the way it is - when we
achieve enlightenment,when all the
lies are uncovered, the Christ
will arise within us.
            The Second Coming will have
happened. The discovery of these
Gospels 2000 years after the death of
Christ, this is the key.
            Read The Gospel of Thomas,
for starters, and you will be helping
this Consciousness arise.

*** The Second Coming that Yeats was talking about
in his poem is not  the Second Coming that I'm talking about. It's important to remember that Yeats wrote this poem only a short time before the start of
the second world war.
