WHAT IS IT THAT YOU LACK...THAT MAKES YOU GO BACK AND FORTH SO?

O.K. The plan was to stay in one place and fall into a daily routine --- ie: get up at 2:00-4:00AM, bed between 8 to 10 PM the night before.
And why was I doing this?I wasn't about to start staring at a wall for seven years straight like Bodhidharma... But discipline was required to increase momentum in my focus.
I'd been getting up and down too much.

Mania and then the ensuing black dog of self-hate... the negative script of depression (which I've perfected over the years). All the evil, nasty self-hate, I got it so it circled in upon me.

To do DREAMING WHILE AWAKE, focus is required. And I wanted to improve my own focus... in the path of self-hypnosis and looking within and mind travel. Since I was starting to teach this method, I thought further practice was required.
So I've been staying in one place - not going out much, not going to bars, not chasing women or drinking heavily...

A saying of my dad's comes to mind:

IF YOU DON'T DRINK, SMOKE, OR CHASE WOMEN, YOU'LL LIVE LONGER.

AND IT WILL SEEM LONGER!

True enough, but focusing in one place and watching the seasons circle round. This is good practice. As I did want to avoid the endless distractions that had ruled my life before.
