The early Christians were the pioneers of our civilization, more so than the puritans who came over on the Mayflower, more so that Cartier or Champlain, these families lived together
and all they had they shared, for the love of the Living One who had walked among them.
They were psychological pioneers, and don't you forget it! One of two basic paths they followed: (1) the path of highly disciplined asceticism ie: no sex, very little booze, plenty of meditation before dawn - and afterwards: silence perhaps for weeks, and meals would be a type of communion. Some individuals undoubtedly went off into the hills in a Vision Quest and ate
manna, bread left to them by God and found in the early morning hours when the dew was
still on the creation and and corruption had not yet come.
Now this was a tough way of life, make no mistake. No distractions, for FORGETTING
was the enemy. No T.V., no cars (O.K., there were camels and donkeys and goats, if you were
lucky) Meals were at set hours. There rest of the time was spent focusing on the Reality of the
One Who Is Creating Us. Remember this process we embody is constantly renewing Itself.
Just check out Quantum Physics to get an idea of the interior picture of the Mind of God.
The early workers in CHRIST were the pioneers. We still are the pioneers. But we cannot do our work with blindfolds on, such as the church has imposed on us; if we are to truly know the
nature of the psyche, if we are to realize the MIND of GOD, we must have all time and space
before us and open to us. And this means INTERIOR SPACE, too, the ability to study and contemplate the space within, which is just as vast, and perhaps more interesting in the immediate future than exterior space.
Of course one space mirrors the other. The inner is as the outer, the above is the below.
But this is another topic for another day. If we have another day.
Here's a discussion from the Gospel of Truth, another GOSPEL which SHOULD have been
included in the BIBLE, which is now being included in the Bible*****.

There's a notion called "THE MIDST' which these early pioneers used. Those who were ignorant of the Father and of his Son who comes from the bosom of the Father, those who lived in IGNORANCE lived in THE MIDST. Ignorance is the source of evil and evil is the source of ignorance. For those who were ignorant of the Father/Christ:"it was terror and disturbance and instability and doubt and division, there were many illusions at work by means of these and there were empty fictions as if they were sunk in sleep- and found themselves in disturbing dreams. Either there is a place to which they are fleeing or without strength they come from
having chased after others, or they are involved in striking blows or they are receiving blows themselves, or they have fallen from high places, or they take off into the air thought they do not even have wings. Again sometimes it is as if people were murdering them, though there is no one even pursuing them, or they themselves are killing their neighbours, for they have been stained with their blood. When those who are going through all these things wake up, they see nothing,
they who are in THE MIDST of all these disturbances, for they are nothing. * Such is they way of those who have cast ignorance aside from them like sleep, not esteeming it as anything, nor do they esteem its works as solid things either, but they leave them behind like a dream in the night.
The knowledge of the Father they value as the dawn. This is the way each one has acted,
as though asleep at the time when he was ignorant. And this is the way he has come to knowledge, as if he had awakened.
Good for the man who will return and awaken. And blessed is he who has opened the eyes of the blind.
(Thank you Harold Attridge and George MacRae for the translation).

O.K., a few points. Living in "the midst" is living in hell. Ignorance is the reason we live in
hell. Hell exists in the past, the present and the future, but it is not eternal. There is no such thing as eternal damnation.
Many will disagree, but THESE ARE THE FACTS!
(Editors' Note: Our Reporter is rarely humble. But he never
gets the story wrong).

The only thing that is eternal is the Mind at the Eye of God. The Mind of God knows the eternal: all past and future are present in the Mind of God. The Mind of God lives in the present; MYTH is the language of the present, of eternal realms, the "Dream Time" (see
Joseph Campbell). This is the meaning of the archetypes, entities, psychological realities
which exist forever in that frontier land, the Mind, the place the adventurous must study.
Now, more than ever, we need adventurous souls: brave souls who are willing to risk their
lives in the pursuit of the dangerous truth. I can assure you of one thing. This quest for the truth, this quest for Awakening; it is the real Grail Quest.
The adventurer, who sets out upon this path, will be forced to give up nothing less than everything.
This the Master assures us.

  1. EATING GOD. Make no mistake, the fruit of the tree at the center of the garden is forbidden because eating of this tree imparts knowledge of the eternal.

The angels were afraid, saying, "Then they will be as we are"

The fruit of the tree is Christ and Chrism, when sufficient meditation has been done - when you have made a space within yourself, Grace may enter. The fruit of the Tree that is Christ, the Axis Mundi, is a very real fruit which may be eaten and has juices and the taste of the IMMACULATE.
Immaculate conception takes place within the mind, when the fruit of the tree is eaten, and a new Son is born.

Eating the flesh of Christ: once digested, the knowledge the FRUIT that is CHRIST
imparts is knowledge of the immortal, the land of the 'dream time' known to the primitives', world that exists in the present tense only,
place out of which emerge all archetypes: the knowledge that comes with eating the Son of God
is the knowledge of eternal life.

"Life eternal", this is the promise the earliest Christians made to the rest of mankind,
and the realization that is the vision that comes with eating the flesh of the Lord, is the
knowledge of what dies not. "Here. where no moth
comes or worm devours" is the place where your treasure shall be.

"And where your treasure is, so shall your heart be also."

May your heart be at peace in this blessed place
that comes from eating Christ, now the deeper Eucharist is remembered, may your heart be bright in the wisdom of the Lord.

"The Kingdom will not come through expectation."
    (Gospel of Thomas)

The Kingdom is here but men see it not. The fields are white, ripe with the harvest.
